Large Fresh Fillet

Received my order of two sides of Trout fillets plus extra fillets, very well packed in ice and delivered with over night courier. Beautiful trout as always and very much enjoyed by all my family for Easter. Thank you Chalk Stream Foods for another order of delicious trout. I have already recommended to friends. 

I have been buying Chalksteam products since Covid.  All their products are  utterly delicious. Once one has tried Chalksteam trout, one can instantly taste the difference to supermarket salmon! The fillets arrived beautifully packed - the ice bags still frozen.  I like to cook it very simply - wrapped in loose foil with a slice or two of lemon and then baked in the oven for no more than 25 minutes. New potatoes, peas and hollandaise sauce - absolutely delicious.

I have been buying from Chalk Stream for several years - always quick delivery, good condition on receipt, absolutely delicious when cooked. Just cooked the last large fillet - six people dined off it - so good value too.

We were introduced to Chalkstream trout by our son who was a chef, and we have been delighted with the choice ever since. it is a superb fish sold by CS that we have received every time we’ve ordered it, and we’ve not been disappointed yet. We would highly recommend it for its delightful texture and taste
